DiaTrak's Dosage Manager provides a user-friendly data entry
interface to capture date, time, dosage location, reason and optional notes.
Once this information is selected, simply choose your medication (from more
than 50 different insulins/pills available) and enter the number of units. Up
to four different medications can be included in a single dosage. Your
most-recent entries (up to 30 days worth) are also displayed along with details
for easy access to editing features.
With such a multitude of insulins and locations available, DiaTrak allows you
to select which ones to display in your drop-down lists. That way, if you don't
use Lente or Glargine, you'll never have to see them in your list. If you never
take injections in the abdomen or back, you can take them out of your list of
locations. Customized lists make it easier for you to quickly enter your
information.
Your dosage information is accompanied by a detailed chart
showing your approximated insulin levels based on your insulin's onset, peak
and duration information. Each insulin is color-coded in the chart and you can
easily see when your insulin levels are high or low.
Your blood glucose levels are superimposed on the chart to show the effect of
your dosages. Your customized target range is also indicated with blue for high
glucose and red shading for low glucose.
Use the Dosage Manager to track your insulin intake.
Accurately recording your insulin intake is crucial to effective management of
Diabetes.
